Adult Bar / Bat Mitzvah

An adult B'nai Mitzvah class is held each year for those who did not partake in this rite of passage in their youth and now feel that it is an important experience to have.

Members of the class will learn to read Torah. The culmination is a special Shabbat in which the members of the class go up to the Torah for an aliyah and chant from the Torah.
