Shabbat & Minyanim

May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable to you Adonai, my Rock and my Redeemer.  ~ Psalm 19:14

Our onsite community activity has been temporarily interrupted by COVID-19. Please view our homepage for current communal virtual programming.

Our doors are open to all who seek to worship, learn and serve the community.

Services at Congregation Or Hadash are a learning experience. During services, members of the Minyan are encouraged to engage if they have a question regarding the structure of the service, the meaning of a prayer, the interpretation of the Torah portion or a comment regarding the practice of Judaism.

Our goal is to broaden the understanding of Judaism, and through better understanding, establish each individual’s relationship with God. Join us to experience our interactive services. Come learn with us.

Kabbalat Shabbat | Fridays at 6:30 pm
We welcome the Shabbat bride with celebration, song, dancing, and prayer followed by Oneg.

Shabbat Morning | Saturdays at 9:15 am
We gather for prayer, Torah reading and discussion followed by a congregational Kiddush.

Tuesday Morning Minyan | Tuesdays at 7:00 am

Sunday Morning Minyan | Sundays at 9:15 am

Both Minyanim are both at COH and on Zoom.

Shabbat Jam
Shabbat Jam takes place periodically during Kabbalat Shabbbat. This is our 'homegrown' multigenerational member band, which provides the musical backdrop the service. We are always looking for band members! Contact Rabbi Lauren.
