Yizkor/B'Sefer Hayim Book of Life and Living

5784 Yizkor/B’Sefer Hayim Book of Life and Living Form

Each year, during the High Holidays, it is our tradition to honor and remember those who are no longer with us by listing their names in our Yizkor Book. This wonderful tradition links us to loved ones and friends whose memories are so important to us. We use this book for Yizkor services throughout the year.

It is also our tradition to live in the present and recognize all of our blessings. Each day, when we wake up, we recite Modeh ani l’fanechah, How grateful I am before You. During this past year we have been blessed by family and friends who have showered us with joy.

In this spirit of gratitude, Congregation Or Hadash combines our traditional Yizkor Book with a Book of Life and Living. We invite you to remember loved ones who have passed, and to honor family and friends by sharing Modeh Ani, I am thankful, wishes and greetings. Examples might be family members’ and friends’ accomplishments and life cycle events or simply recognize a member of the congregation or community.

You can also access this form electronically by going to our website and clicking on High Holidays.
DEADLINE: All entries must be submitted by September 8, 2023 with a minimum suggested donation of $18 per entry.

With Modeh Ani wishes for our family and friends:
