Thank you for registering your children for Congregation Or Hadash's High Holiday babysitting and youth programming. Details and expectations for babysitting and youth programming are outlined below.
Age 6 months-4 years old
Childcare will be provided from 10am-1pm on Rosh Hashanah day 1, Rosh Hashanah day 2, and Yom Kippur morning. We ask an adult in each household to volunteer in our babysitting room for one hour over the course of the holidays.
If you choose not to enroll your child in babysitting, you are welcome to spend time with your child in the babysitting room (classroom #1). If your child is not enrolled in babysitting, a parent or guardian must attend to their child.
Nursing mothers will have access to private office space as needed.
Cost for babysitting will be $36/child regardless of days attended. There will be an additional $18 fee for youth that do not register in advance.
Grades K-7
Youth programming is available for members from 10am-1pm on Rosh Hashanah day 1, Rosh Hashanah day 2, and Yom Kippur morning. Children are also welcome to stay with you in the main service. However, children must be be on one place or the other; for safety reasons, they must be under parent supervision or youth programming supervision. Children in babysitting and youth programing must have parent/guardian available at Or Hadash.
Children in this age range are not permitted to leave youth programming unless picked up by a parent/guardian. Parents/guardians must pick up their own child(ren) - we kindly ask that friends/siblings not be sent to pick up a child.
If you have any questions about Youth Programming, or need assistance with the costs, please email Dr. Amy Robertson, Director of Lifelong Learning, at amy@or-hadash.org.
