Beginning Hebrew for Adults

Don't put it off another day! Make this the year that you start your Hebrew reading adventure. Taught by master teacher and Or Hadash member Myrna Rubel, this class will teach you the alef bet and vowels and how to blend sounds and form syllables so you can sound out words on the page of the siddur. Class meets once a week, and students will need to practice at home for about 15 minutes each day. You can do it! Class fee of $180 includes the cost of materials. Jews & Taboos 25-26

Our beloved teen program, led by Rachel Lazarus, where the messiness of real life meets Judaism, and no topic is taboo. 8-10th graders meet from 6:00-8:30pm, including an hour to make dinner and eat together. 11-12th graders meet from 4:30-7:00pm, focused on a mix of Judaism and "adulting"/ life skills that come into focus as they prepare for greater independence after high school. Tuition is $300 per teen.
